Bainbridge Beers
Bainbridge Beers is a small company. Maybe a day will come when we can’t say that any more but for the moment we are proud of it.
Bainbridge Beers sells craft beers, we don’t get distracted by anything other that our passion. This means we can also focus on what we think is important and then work on that. It doesn’t mean we are a bunch of hippies with no care for those big world concepts like money and profit. However, it does mean that we won’t get distracted by anything that doesn’t involve the sale and development of craft beers.
We are aggressively passionate that the time has come for North American craft beers. A few years back the market was clogged with discount beer after discount beer but shoppers and retailers alike are now voting with their wallet and recognizing that premium is better value than money off sameness.
Interestingly enough, this is the same whatever product category you choose to look in. Ten years ago people took time to consider the benefits of New World wine, nearer to the present day Green & Blacks chocolate, Innocent juices, Gu chocolate puddings, Babylicious, Fentimans, Tyrells and many others have shown that customers do have the ability to differentiate between pallid and premium.
And now the time for North American craft beers has come. The advent of the British Premium Bottled Ale has been warmly received by people at every corner of the brewing industry and Bainbridge Beers believe this is the tip of the iceberg for customers to take the leap in quality with beer that they did with wine a decade or so ago. We heartily applaud the efforts of Adnams, Morland, Meantime and many other of the regional and local breweries raising the bar with innovative product.
For Bainbridge, this is the open door we have been waiting for to introduce the prime North American craft beers that are designed to be enjoyed by the sip, not quaffed by the gallon. They are right for pairing with food, not for guzzling before an end of night kebab or curry. They are specifically designed to challenge with new and enticing flavours and aromas, not smother you in bland familiarity.
So try some craft beer today. Either Highway 49 in retail or online by the case, try it today and let us know what you think. We trust you will not describe the experience as boring.

Who is running the show?
As we said earlier, we are a small crew and proud of it. We could puff our chest up here and rattle glorious about collective experiences working for global companies like Bass, Coca Cola, Mars, Unilever and Scottish Courage. We could have one of those cheesy web pages with lots of photos of smiling execs looking really important. We could even have pictures of us all in bars, pretending to look like we are FTSE 100 bound in process and efficiency yet bath in beer every morning.
However, I doubt that really matters to most of you. All you want to know is that Bainbridge Beers sells quality North American craft beer. It was started by a couple of guys who were lucky enough to live in North America for a few years and sampled first hand the immense diversity of products available. And people who took the idea, sat on it for a while until the market was ready and then took the leap.
But don’t buy the beer just because our mortgages are on the line, or because good friends have invested personal money to support the idea or because you think we seem nicer than all the guys you see on Dragons Den. Ah OK, if you want to do then please do but when you get the beer take time to judge it alongside everything you have ever drunk.
We think then you might realise why we think it’s worth banking the house on.
